Guidance Notes.
If you are a Housing Association tenant and have been moved into a different property since the flood use your previous property's contents insurance details for 2008 and current your one for 2010.
Just because your Buildings and Contents insurance are provided by the same company does not make it a combined policy, complete the details as if separate policies unless you don’t know the exact figures and can only remember the total amount paid.
If you have changed the details of your cover (eg. Knocked off accidental cover or have accepted a higher excess for cheaper premiums), please give details of the changes in the comments section.
Flood excess on policies is the standard excess unless otherwise stated (not the usual £1000 for subsidence).
If your property was not flooded but you still had to make an insurance claim on your buildings policy for flood damage, enter No to question 7 and Below floor to question 8.
If you need help with any of the questions, Telephone Alan Bell on 01670 518609, Daytime and Early Evening.
